Local great Mexican food good atmosphere eat there at least once a week!!!!!

The food was tasty and the service was great. Nice little hidden restaurant.

I love the food. They have things other Mexican places don't. They also do different kinds of things, like tamales are done in styls according to where in Mexico the recipe comes from.

Awesome I ordered a Pollo Con Tajadas and was perfectly fried and the tajadas were delicious. (By the way tajadas are deep fried plantains)Plenty of food have to save for dinner i was not able to finish it. Highly recommend it.

This is my ultimate top favorite restaurant. It doesnt matter what you get they are amazing in the kitchen and the people that own the place are so friendly. I would highly recomend this place to anyone. Real authentic mexican food. I cant get enough.

Very good food and advice there last night at La Plaza!!!

I had to leave and put a mask on but while they took my order another customer walked in and was not told to leave and get a mask on. They're picking and choosing who had to wear masks. Felt singled out and hassled. No Bueno

From San Diego by the boarder and have had some fine Mexican cuisine but eating here I feel in love with this food by far. Excellence !!!

A huge menu, a lot of things not served in other restaurants. It would take a lot of trips to try them all.

It is fantastic! Tiny little place that is big on great taste and awesome service! It's in the Englewood district on Winner rd. in Independence just about a block and a half west of Sterling. There is a cool store attached with lots of quality products imported from Mexico.

One of my go to resturaunts it's close and items on the menu not found at other Hispanic returaunts. Their market next door is an added bonus if you are needing some harder to find items to fill your pantry.

The service and food is good and I absolutely love their homemade Horchata...Update 2019 still the best Horchata

The menu has alot of food to choose from , I ordered the scrambled eggs with chorizo with side of beans and rice and corn tortillas and I thought it was very yummy! I will definitely be back there. Chips and salsa were also good and I enjoyed some hot coffee too, however my family waited awhile before our food came out,it was during lunch hours,but I will give it another chance. Staff were friendly.

Amazing authentic Mexican food. Each order prepared fresh. Comfortable casual dining and the service is spot on. THIS is one of my new go to places.

First time in Kansas City Missouri from Los Angeles and this is a good authentic Mexican Restaurant that would be hard to find in LA. Chips and salsas taste amazing and they also have an extra spicy one in the back if you ask. We also had ordered two cups of coffee and they Brewed them on the spot. Service was quick, the food was delicious and inexpensive. I would definitely invite anyone here to give it a try.

I went on a Sunday evening and I'll definitely give them another try but this particular evening they had no steak or carne asada. The chicken fajita was good though and I'll definitely try them again I want to try their carne asada

A friend of mine took me here for lunch yesterday. I've lived in Independence for most my life and can't believe I didn't know about this place. Sooooo yummy. It also has a cute Mexican store on the other side. I will definitely be back.

Best fresh made corn tortillas around!

Wonderful and affordable Mexican and Central American food! Everything I've had there is delicious, especially the handmade corn and flour tortillas. I could've given it 5 stars I guess, but I wish it had more Latin American ambiance or music.

Great service n tasty food

I'm hooked on the tacos.. Best tacos in town. Taco Tuesday..just $1.00 a taco. And if you can't make it on Tuesday's, It's the same on Wednesday's as well. The food is great! 5 Stars All Day Every Day!

Great food happy environment great place to eat

Went there to eat, when we came in we plugged up our phones. The waitress was upset about it. Everything was good until we paid our bill. As soon as she grabbed her tip she told us, we done here and told us to unplug our phones and rushed us out the restaurant. We will not be returning.

If you havent been here b 4.. plz come early in the day.. it can get bizz e from 12-4 on good days.. you need menudo(this place is GREAT 4 it)
